Our mission is to inspire thoughtful and personal gift-giving within the United States by importing artisan-made, modern heirlooms that are beautifully wrapped and finished with a handwritten note before we conveniently ship them to your loved ones.

Artisans who have devoted years to mastering their unique craft, sometimes with skills being passed down from ancestors for generations, are the experts, and our daily inspiration.
our premise
Founded by Wendy Oliver on the desire to offset our ‘throwaway’ society featuring mass-produced, plastic goods cluttering our homes and minds, Speshlhaus supports authentic, quality, artisan-made goods from abroad (many made by those who truly live life at a slower, more deliberate pace) which are treasures in today’s culture.
Wendy’s childhood memories of her mom celebrating her friendships by always having a gift in hand, inspired the premise of a store that encourages heartfelt giving.
The ideas of quality goods and genuine giving combined with Wendy’s love for international travel, design, history and beauty were knit together to form the foundation of Speshlhaus.
